BIG BAD BOYZ BREAKFAST AT CABOOLTURE A GREAT SUCCESS! SAT 2 AUGUST 2008
The vision of one of our newest Bad Boyz has led to a very successful breakfast at the Church of God, Caboolture.
We thank the church for the use of their premises at cnr Wharf & Johnson Sts, at the start of Beachmere Rd. Not
only was the food GREAT, thanks to head cooks Michael Limmer, Bruce Coghill, Jared Khu and others, but the real-
life testimonies from Hamish Coker & Tony Bellino were very inspiring. To top it off, a fantastic address by Kristian
Wale on how the Arethusa College at the Shaftesbury Centre is teaching trade and life skills to young men. We urge

BAD BOYZ SAUSAGE SIZZLES AT MORAYFIELD SKATE PARK FRI 2 NOVEMBER 2007
These weekly outreaches have been a great success since they started on Friday 5 October. Kilos of sausages &
onions have been cooked by the older bad boyz while the younger men have been chatting with dozens of young
people and sharing their faith.
LINDA GALLAGHER'S MUM PASSES AWAY, AGED 91 FRI 31 AUGUST 2007
Linda lost her Mum today, but she knows she will see her again in Glory. Linda has done so much to help women in
jail and also wives & girlfriends of men in Correctional Centres over the years, as well as being Noel's full-time
secretary. As she has supported us, let us now support her & Noel in prayer over this sad time in their lives.
BAD BOYZ CABOOLTURE COMMUNITY SAUSAGE SIZZLE IN RECESS SUN 8 JULY 2007
Though there was good attendance at Wallace Park, the cold weather is getting the better of us, so the 7:30
breakfasts will be back at the newly refurbished Party Room at McDonalds Bribie Turnoff until further notice. We will
resume the Community Sausage Sizzles in Wallace St. North Park at 10:00 am with the Bad Boyz BBQ trailer when
the warmer weather returns!
SHANE PARNELL RECOVERING MIRACULOUSLY MON 4 JUNE 2007
Tuesday 8 May 2007: We requested urgent prayer for Shane Parnell (see news entry below for Christmas Eve,
2005) who had fallen off the top of a building (now confirmed to be a 6-storey building).
Thursday 24 May: After over 2 weeks in the Gold Coast Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Shane was able to talk.
Monday 4 June 2007: Shane continues to heal miraculously! Is eating like a horse and thanking God he's alive.
Wants to serve God and live for Barb and his kids and family. Thanks to you ALL for your prayers which have been
part of this truly miraculous healing from God. Please keep praying for Shane's full recovery.
BAD BOYZ MOVE TO THE PARK SAT 28 APRIL 2007
Following our successful barbecue breakfasts at Apex Park, Caboolture Bad Boyz have decided to have our next
breakfast at the park at Wallace St. This will be in association with the youth of Caboolture Christian Church some of
whom have been attending our barbecue breakies. The BBQs have worked well, with everyone pitching in to help.
A MOMENT ONLY GOD COULD MAKE SAT 21 APRIL 2007
Bad Boyz met for a special breakfast at Apex Park, Caboolture. Hamish shared his testimony while a group of
Senior Citizens travelling by coach also joined us at the park for a cuppa. A magic moment which only God could
arrange as the bus-driver, after hearing Hamish's conversion story, played Amazing Grace on the harmonica.
OVER 200 DECISIONS IN JAIL MON 5 FEBRUARY 2007
Exciting things have been happening in the jails over the past year. Noel Gallagher recently visited the Rockhampton
jail and spoke at different units. The local chaplains reported back to him that between 200-300 inmates have made
decisions to follow Christ.
Bad Boyz small groups continue to multiply inside both Arthur Gorrie and Woodford Correctional Centres. Over 20
groups are now established.
Inmates are winning one another to the Lord as well as those won by the Bad Boyz Chaplains: Noel Gallagher, Paul
Thomas, Graham Hembrow and Bill McDonough.
Linda Gallagher has been working extremely hard with her visits to the women’s prison and equally importantly her
follow up work on the outside. Noel and Linda unselfishly once again spent their Christmas Day visiting inmates at
Woodford. (Repeating a special Christmas service over 20 times - once for each unit.)
Annette Land continues to visit the women’s prison weekly and has been highly successful in raising funds for
Christmas presents for the children of inmates. Sue Scott in admin has been a great support in this as well.
A majority of our Community Care finance goes in to supporting the efforts of this mainly unrecognized and unsung
group of people. Whenever you see reports of crime on TV, remember and pray for this team who are at the forefront
of the battle against life-controlling problems which if unabated result in crime.
Please also pray for more finance, two of the present Bad Boyz Chaplains receive no reimbursement and the other
two are on shoe string budgets.

NOEL'S "HOLIDAY" & NEW BAD BOYZ CLUBS WED 15 NOVEMBER 2006
Noel & Linda are on a hard-earned holiday, including some time at Great Keppel island. But Noel is also taking the
opportunity of visiting contacts at Maryborough and Rockhampton who may have their own Bad Boyz Clubs in
operation very soon. We also have contacts in Western Australia, so Bad Boyz Clubs may soon span the length &
breadth of Australia. More details as they become available!
MICK'S PROGRESS WED 15 NOVEMBER 2006
Thanks to God answering many prayers offered up for Mick, there is a lot of good news.
Mick was only one week in hospital. He has since been to 2 Bad Boyz Breakfasts already. He still has no hearing in
one ear and is still sore all over. He is taking medication in case the chips of bone still near his brain cause a
seizure. The staples were taken out of his head before he got out of hospital. The main problem is getting Mick to
take it easy! He will be off work for at least 6 months we think, so it will be hard for him to sit still. Overall, Mick
seems to have made an amazing recovery! Which is great news considering a young woman who was involved in a
similar accident about 2 years ago - died.
"MIRACLE" MICK MCGRATH IN INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT TUE 24 OCTOBER 2006
At about 10 am Tue 17 October, Mick was involved in an accident with the hydraulic arm on the garbage truck he was
operating for his employer. His right ear was torn off and his skull sustained multiple fractures. After over 7 hours
surgery, doctors re-attached the ear, and during surgery put over 150 stitches/staples in his head, He is now
recuperating in Royal Brisbane Hospital. Thankyou to all who have prayed for Mick, who is now able to get up and
move around, but still in hospital. At this stage he has, among other things, no hearing in his right ear, so your
continued prayers are most welcome until he reaches full recovery.

As of Saturday 14 October, Caboolture Bad Boyz Club will be relocating back to the McDonalds at Bribie Interchange
(off Bruce Hwy). This venue offers seating which we can move around to maximise comfort & feel more relaxed as
we share or listen.

encourage inmates.
